The key to the control is the 14mm (0.55") thick carbon fiber SST core (a Gearbox proprietary approach). This unique core situates rigid carbon fiber ribs vertically through the core, which are able to compress the ball for impressive dwell time, expand the sweet spot for consistent response, and even work with the hitting surface to help grip the ball and add tremendous spin to your cuts and slices.

Sandwiching the high-performance SST Core of the PRO Control Integra paddle from Gearbox Pickleball is a raw Toray T-700 carbon fiber face material with TXR Surface Grip Technology. This surface allows the natural ridges found in carbon fiber to stay slightly raised and impart spin on the ball. This raw material offers impressive longevity and control, a feeling that is backed up by the rigid feel of this hitting surface that further boosts control without negatively affecting power. The 16" x 7-3/8" dimensions represent a familar shape and feel, which decreases the adjustment period a player would typically need when switching from another paddle.

Lastly, the impressive "quiet tech" which Gearbox has engineered into their PRO paddle line ensures this paddle emits a noticeably lower decibel level when striking a pickleball. This makes the PRO Control Fusion ideal for noise-restricted communities, and masks the power behind your strokes.
