ProKennex Kinetic Black Ace Ovation Pickleball Paddle
Boasting ProKennex's innovative oval shape, the Black Ace Ovation Pickleball Paddle with Kinetic technology provides aggressive power and response all over the court. Its one-piece Toray carbon fiber molded construction offers stability and a reactive feel so you can keep up with hectic play around the kitchen, while the oval shape and thin profile will allow you to produce more speed on overhead slams and big forehand winners. And, like its Black Ace Pro sibling, the Toray carbon face boasts ample texture to ensure you can put spin on your shots from deeper in the court.
The versatility of the Kinetic Black Ace Ovation paddle is further backed by a high impact resistant 11mm (0.43") thick core housed in the paddle's 16.1" long by 7.75" wide overall dimensions. This core is comprised of a polypropylene honeycomb matrix, augmented by the Kinetic vibration and shock mitigation system inherent to all ProKennex pickleball paddles. To further help you handle the immense power of this paddle, and for the first time, the 5.4" long handle also features this patented Kinetic system of micro-tungsten bead-filled chambers, ensuring forceful strikes do not aggrivate joint and muscle issues.
The Kinetic Black Ace Ovation Pickleball Paddle from ProKennex utilizes the best of modern materials and technologies to help you add power and speed to your game so you can better dictate the flow of the match.

Purchased this paddle a couple weeks ago and am extremely pleased. Keep in mind that I had been playing with an PK Ovation speed previously. The Black Ace provides more pop on my ground strokes and serve. Took 2 or 3 time’s playing to recover the control of the PK Speed and I found if I stand a step or 2 behind the baseline on the serve, I can keep the ball deep but without it going long

Great Power Paddle

The paddle weighed 7.7 ounces stock and I added lead tape to increase the paddle weight to 8.9 ounces. I really enjoy playing with the paddle now, because I now have better control with the extra weight without sacrificing the power.

nice paddle.....................

I really wanted to like this paddle, but unfortunately maybe my skillset was not equal to the product. For me it plays too much like a gearbox, (without the vibration). Granted if you hit the sweet spot you can produce a ton of power! I just can't dink or do control shots with this paddle as much as I tried to. I'm just too used to the thicker 16-19mm paddles I guess. So my guess is, if you come from using edgeless paddles this might work for you, but I don't think it's the paddle to switch to if you are comfortable with thicker polypro paddles. It is a great looking paddle and crafted very nicely though. Maybe for the more advanced players out there.
