The thicker 16mm build increases dwell time and softens the overall response, so blocks, resets, and transition shots feel easier to guide without giving up the reach and leverage of the elongated TKO-X shape.
Compared to the 14mm, this version leans more into control and stability. We feel a calmer response against pace, a more forgiving face when contact drifts away from center, and better confidence when we need to absorb speed instead of add to it. The same HoneyFoam system still gives us power when we swing, but the 16mm spreads that energy out in a more controlled way. If we want the new HoneyFoam feel with more consistency in the soft game, this is the better match.
