Very well balanced. Good control at the net. Ball doesn’t pop off the paddle as well as my Joola Hyperion. Ball contact feels hard off the paddle but has good control off drives. I like this paddle

I love this paddle! After trying several others, this one has the best combination of power and control and feels great. The slightly elongated head helps get to balls at the edge of my reach. I also love the handle/grip, although the white got dirty quick. I’m a 3.5 playing both indoors and out. I do find it could use a little more pop indoors when playing with softer ball, but not picking

I tried multiple high-end paddles before ordering the Katanashot. It is exactly what I was looking for. It has a lot of control, without giving up power. It has great reach. It is not too heavy, and the weight is well balanced, so the movement is quick up by the net. The surface it gritty which allows you to put a lot of spin on the ball. The only downside is the grip is white and gets dirty quickly. However, this white grip tape works great for this paddle "Tourna Mega Tac Extra Tacky Overgrip". I highly recommend this paddle.
