The Franklin Proshot Pickleballer is a supremely portable and easy-to-use pickleball training machine that offers reliable drilling to help you improve how you handle various shots. The Proshot Pickleballer has a 15 ball capacity (balls not included), stands 24.5" tall x 9" wide x 11" deep after assembly, and can be powered by either 4 D-cell batteries (not included) or with the A/C power adapter (included!). Despite its compact size and low price, the Pickleballer Machine's feeder wheels can be adjusted to fire balls with topspin, backspin, and side spin. The firing speed can be adjusted between "high" or "low" settings to simulate various shots ("high" represents about 27 MPH).

The Proshot Pickleballer holds up to 15 outdoor pickleballs utilizing its spiraling tower design atop a stable base, and fire them in 8 second increments. A helpful indicator light informs you when another ball will be launched so you can get in position and prepare for your shot.

The Proshot Pickleballer Ball Machine from Franklin is a compact and reliable pickleball training machine that doesn't break the bank. The multiple spin options and quick launching ability of this machine will help you progress faster in your game, at a size and price point which are both easy to manage.

I purchased this a year ago. I finally took it out and used it in a gym plugged into a wall outlet. First ball came out like a dud, then worked okay for baseline to baseline feeds. This was good because i could video my wife's stroke mechanics. Then after 10 minutes the motor started to hum and the balls only popped out a foot or so. I turned off and back on. It would only work for about 10 minutes before puttering out. If I could return it, i would. With small ball capacity, it would be easier just to hit with a partner. The only positive was it allowed me to video my wife's stroke mechanics. I probably will not use it again.

I thought since it is a Franklin machine it would be good quality but was wrong. As mentioned in other reviews, it worked once or twice now sounds as if there is an issue with the motor and the balls simply fall out. Very disappointed.

I recently purchased this machine, & with only the power of 4D batteries I found the machine was adequate at best. So I thought to myself how can I get these motors to spin faster? Well, I use these 7.4v lipo batteries in my rc gas boats. They provide a ton more power than regular alkaline batteries do. In short I rigged it to accept the lipo battery, & boom! The balls come out firing now! I love it!

It worked three times and then sounded as though the motor was burning out and the balls dribbled out rather than popped. This was with AC current. I am returning mine.

As a big fan of Franklin pickleballs, I thought that high quality would be evident with this product. Could not have been more wrong! It worked exactly two times for a total of 90 minutes max. Since then, when powered on, it does nothing more than light up. I jumped at the chance to get the introductory deal from pickleball central. It's hard to overstate my disappointment with this purchase.

I purchased this my wife for Christmas and we were very disappointed. The cycle time is way to slow and the height adjustment are worthless. The difference between high and low speed is negligible. I do not recommend this product and plan to return it.

This machine only works with certain balls- the Franklin X-40s are the ones I use. The slightly larger balls- like the Top balls sold by PB Central, jam. And like other reviewers said, the last two balls do no come out because the machine relies on the weight of the balls stored in the wraparound to push the shooting ball into place. So basically, you get 12-13 balls per load.

For the price it does everything that a beginner or intermediate player needs to practice by themselves. It works much better plugged into an ac outlet as it supplies 12v to the motors, whereas the internal battery is 6v. The documentation could be a lot better.

I am happy to say the Franklin Proshot seems to exactly what I was looking for. It is super portable and since it operates on batteries, you aren’t restricted to having an electric outlet close by. Also no need To drag an extension cord with you. Let’s face it, I do not have hundreds of pickleballs to put in a larger ball feeder, so this is perfect. Compact and 15 balls at a time works for me. I have not figured out how to apply spin yet. That will take some experimentation. So far, so good!

unreliable. It seems to have been designed by someone who's looked into how a pickleball machine or tennis machine perform.
