Diadem A52 Carbon Fiber Edgless Paddle
Sleek and quick, the Diadem A52 Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle boasts all of the maneuverability, spin potential, and control that the beginner to intermediate player could ever need on a pickleball court. The edgeless construction of this paddle teams up with the 7.75-ounce middleweight design to help you reload quickly and play precise dinks in and around the kitchen. This edgeless design creates an 11" long x 7.22" wide carbon fiber hitting surface that offers impressive rigidity to compresses the ball, causing it to linger, and allowing you to place your shots with confidence. A polyurethane painted face creates a tacky surface which grabs the ball as you strike it, to help you impart frustrating spin on cuts and slices, and diving topspin on serves and drives.
How could the A52 carbon fiber paddle from Diadem Pickleball back up a hitting surface like that you might ask? Easy, with a controllable, slightly powerful, and super smooth 13.7mm (0.54") thick polypropylene honeycomb core. This core cushions impacts, returns energy to the ball, and virtually eliminates vibration so you can play confidently and learn from the feel of every shot. The 5.5" long handle arrives wrapped in a flat, tacky grip and allows you to reach more dinks, hit more controlled 2-handed backhands, and adds leverage to your overhead put-aways.

I bought this paddle because I have EVERY Diadem performance paddle and wanted this in my bag as well. It's workmanship is top notch, and is amazing around the NVZ, but as a guy (even an aging one) it seems a bit too light for me. It didn't have enough weight for me on drives, and even my serves didn't have the pop I had with other Diadem paddles (i.e., ICON or Warrior Edge). If a normal 8 oz paddle is too heavy for you, then check this out - this might be THE paddle for you.
