Even though these are called the "Power Series," and they do offer up more power than CRBN's original lineup of CRBN-1 and CRBN-2 paddles, this is still a mostly control-oriented paddle which strikes a better balance on the "power vs. control" spectrum. For those unfamiliar with the CRBN paddle line, the CRBN-2X Power Series is a shorter and wider version of the CRBN-1X Power Series. Both are available in 14mm (0.55") and 16mm (0.63") thicknesses, and prioritize a control-focused play style, while leveraging new materials and manufacturing techniques to layer in a degree of power as the name suggests. The shorter and wider design of the CRBN-2X, however, combined with the 5" handle, foam-injected edges, and high-performance polypropylene honeycomb core, is able to create a giant sweet spot that offers unmatched control and feedback without sacrificing pop and power.
