CRBN1 Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

The CRBN1 Carbon Fiber Paddle from CRBN is a long and powerful option that will have you slicing and speeding up shots with ease. Its 16-1/2" length provides opportunity to set the pace of a match and allows players to incorporate whip-like action on swings so their strikes zip past the competition. The high quality T700 carbon fiber face offers excellent texture to add more rotation when desired, and hone in on accurate placement.

The CRBN1 Pickleball Paddle ranges from 7.9 – 8.2 ounces, which makes it easy enough to maneuver while providing enough weight to power up your volleys. The 5-1/2" handle length also gives players room to use two-handed shots for when you really need to pounce on an opening in your opponents' defenses. Its polypropylene core comes in three different thickness options: 13mm, 14mm, or 16mm. This range offers players the flexibility to choose their preferred core thickness that compliments their play style, whether that is a slimmer paddle with a more "punchy" feel (13mm), a thicker paddle with a softer control-oriented feel and vibration dampening qualities (16mm), or a paddle that blends power with a large sweet spot (14mm). The grip circumference also varies accordingly, with the 13mm and 14mm paddle handles measuring 4-1/4" in circumference, and the 16mm paddle's handle measuring slightly larger at 4-3/8".

Every new CRBN paddle is serialized and approved for USA Pickleball sanctioned tournament play.

The CRBN1 Carbon Fiber Paddle from CRBN Pickleball will allow you to control points with mega-spin, and foregoes flashy design in favor of letting performance do all the talking.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Excellent paddle. The best control I’ve had in a paddle with impressive spin potential. It has power if you have the right swing, but it’s not a strength. I find drop shots so much easier with it.

I tried several other paddles including several Joolas and found the CRBN1 to have the best balance between power and control.

I have only been playing pickleball for four months but decided to upgrade from a beginner paddle to this one because I am hooked on the sport. I find this paddle to have exceptionally good control, feel, spin, and touch. It is a comfortable paddle to play with as there is no harsh vibration even from shots that miss the sweet spot. I also was very pleased with the service from Pickleball Central. I received the product quickly and in perfect condition. There was even a personal note included in the packaging. I will definitely return to Pickleball Central for future purchases because of their exceptional service.

  • Pretty awesome!

I have only been playing pickleball for a little over a year but as a former racquetball and tennis player, I am a bit of an equipment snob. I do my research and I like to buy the best. My first paddle was a Babolat MNSTR, followed by the Gearbox CX14E. The CRBN1 is the best by far because it feels like I have more control and power when I need it. I like a longer paddle handle and this one is the same length as my Gearbox. The only downside is that the grip is a bit bigger than I'd like it because I use overgrips and the shape of the grip could be a little more comfortable. Overall, a keeper!

I have been using this paddle for about 6 weeks now - 70 year old "rec" player, playing about twice per week. The carbon fiber is already starting to brake down on the face of the paddle. Also the paddle cover zipper broke after about 3 weeks. I might get 2 or 3 more months use out of this paddle before I replace it. The paddle looks good and feels good in your hand, but would not recommend this paddle due to its short life span. Not a good value at $144.00.

I have a tennis background, but fairly new to pickleball (less than a year of casual playing). I’ve been struggling controlling the ball like I can in tennis, but this paddle has changed that. Not quite point and shoot, but significantly more control than my previous paddles which include Gamma Hellbender, Selkirk Invikta, other less expensive paddles. The power is very well balanced as well. I keep the ball in the court a lot more, but it has reserve power if needed by taking a bigger swing. Lots of spin potential to keep the ball in the court or cause it to dip. You can actually see the plastic from the ball left on your paddle from the grip it has! Very comfortable paddle (16mm). Vibration is muted, but you can still feel the ball. I’m finally feeling more confident in playing this crazy, addictive game!
