The "plus" in the Babolat MNSTR+ Pickleball Paddle stands for added power and reach, particularly when compared to the original Babolat MNSTR paddle. This molded paddle boasts a long 5.5" handle that encourages two-handed shots, as well as elongated 16.4" x 7.4" proportions. The unique hitting surface is comprised of 80% carbon and 20% fiberglass, with a graphite "skin" layer on top, then Babolat's RPM Max Grit surface treatment for the most spin potential ever offered by a Babolat pickleball paddle. This thoughtful approach to materials science and paddle build-up is evident in the "monster" performance and feedback of the MNSTR+.
The small 4" circumference of the polyurethane handle gives you plenty of control over the Babolat MNSTR+ while leaving room for overgrips to achieve your desired feel. At the heart of this particular monster is Babolat's take on the polypropylene honeycomb core, at 16mm (0.63") thick, and reinforced with EVA foam. This combination limits vibrations up your arm and offers an impressive feel, while also expanding the sweet spot to offer better pop on off-center strikes and keeps the paddle from twisting in your hand.
