I've tried a lot of paddles over the past year, and this is definitely one of my favorites. It's a little lighter of a paddle (7.7 oz) than I had been using (an 8.2 oz Players Rogue2 Carbon Max), but it does not sacrifice power for the lighter weigh, and it does not sacrifice control despite being a thinner (13mm) paddle. It's heavily textured which helps create a lot of spin. If you are looking for a short handled elongated paddle I highly recommend the Vulcan V920.
