Not an update to the famous VANGUARD line, the Selkirk VANGUARD Pro Epic Pickleball Paddle is more of an all-court extension of the line that players who are looking for elite spin with an extra pop of power will love. Designed for top players, this paddle uses a powerful thermoformed construction to situate Selkirk’s 4-Layer 12k Raw Carbon Fiber Face around a 16mm X5+ Polypropylene Honeycomb core with a foam perimeter. By using 4 layers of Raw Carbon fiber instead of the standard 2, the 10.7” by 7.8” rigid hitting surface offers the crisp feel and ample spin RPM’s that you would expect, with amplified response for pop and power.

Originally tested in Project 006 the 16mm X5+ Polypropylene Honeycomb core with a foam perimeter further situates the Selkirk VANGUARD Pro Epic Pickleball Paddle as a powerful all court extension of the VANGUARD line. The honeycomb section focuses on consistency and cushion to help us control the ample pop and response provided by this paddle, while the foam perimeter stretches the sweet spot, adds plow through ability and stability, and increases power so we can get resets deep in the court. The 5.3” octagonal handle completes the balanced feel of this standard shape paddle by pairing reach with control and an enhanced swing speed.
