Engage Pursuit SX 6.0 Pickleball PaddleThe Pursuit SX 6.0 Graphite Paddle is engineered around maximizing surface area, producing a large sweet spot to emphasize control and ease of play. The larger than normal paddle face is a result of the slightly elongated shape and the short handle, which add up to a lot of square inches of hitting area. This shape adds unique play characteristics to the best-selling line of Pursuit pickleball paddles from Engage.
The SX 6.0 paddle is offered in two weight ranges; 7.5 to 7.8 oz. for the lightweight model, and 7.9 to 8.3 oz. for the standard weight model. Dimensions are 16.25" long by 7.75" wide, with a stubby 4" long handle which sits perfectly in smaller hands or accommodates "finger up" grip styles. This is a thick-core (0.63" or 16mm), control-oriented paddle with an exposed graphite face which features a natural texture, making it simple to add spin and carefully position your shots. Since the grit is part of the face material itself, as opposed to an overlay on top of the face, players never have to worry about a separate materail wearing off over time. Engage Pickleball's proprietary "Control Pro Black" polymer core adds a high level of durability and consistency which also dampens impact while creating that fantastic sweet spot.
Engage is well known for their powerful paddles; however, with the Pursuit SX 6.0 they have really focused on forgiveness, softness, and performance consistency in an impressive package.

Went from a very good paddle (Selkirk Amped Omni) to this. Excellent at blocks, dinking and 3rd shot drops. Everything feels easy with this paddle. Additionally, it has a rough surface for lots of spin.
