PROLITE Rebel Pro XLT Hyperweave LX Carbon Fiber Paddle

The Rebel Pro XLT LX Paddle is a part of the next generation "Hyperweave" series from PROLITE. Bringing to market a new take on paddle face materials and layering, PROLITE's Hyperweave LX paddles combine three layers of carbon fiber per side, with the top layer relying on a tighter cross-weave and interwoven gold or silver fibers (your choice) to deliver some of the best looking and best performing pickleball paddles on the market today. The luxury look and premium performance of these paddles combine to give you the confidence to face all challengers.

While the XLT LX maintains the same overall length and width proportions as the Rebel Pro LX, the XLT features a longer handle at 5-1/4" making it easier for players who leverage two-handed shots to load up and swing away. Additionally, the paddle is slightly head-heavy (biasing the balance point away from the handle), which increases swing weight, and therefore, striking power. The XLT weighs 7.7 oz., on average, the handle is a small'ish 4-1/8" in circumference and arrives wrapped in PROLITE's ProTac Cushion Grip. Another PROLITE innovation, the Aero Channel Edge Guard runs the entire perimeter of the paddle face and is engineered to reduce drag.

Finally, the thicker-than-average 14mm polymer honeycomb core is designed to reduce impact vibration. This core, sandwiched by three stiff carbon fiber layers per side, results in a forgiving control paddle up close, and a power beast from deep in the court. Don't let the lack of flashy graphics fool you, the Rebel Pro XLT Hyperweave LX paddle from PROLITE Pickleball is absolutely beautiful and performs like no other.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Reviews of the Rebel Pro XLT LX Paddle by Pickleball Central Staff:

"The new LX II Series from PROLITE is a complete series of paddles that play as good as they look! The Rebel Pro XLT LX is a new shape for PROLITE. They took their popular Rebel Pro and extended the handle by a 1/2 inch. This gives the paddle a little extra pop by moving the sweet spot a little higher up on the face. It is also great for anyone who uses two hands on any of their shots. And, while I am not a two-handed backhand player, I do occasionally put a second hand on the paddle for dinks or short-hop shots and it provides extra stability and control on these shots. With the Rebel Pro XLT the finger of my top hand rested comfortably on the paddle face without digging into my hand.

I am also a fan of the look of this paddle. The way PROLITE wove the silver or gold fibers into the carbon fiber weave gives it a very luxurious look. And honestly, it looks better in person than it does online.

Anyone who is looking for a paddle that mixes control from a high-quality carbon fiber face, with some power from a long shape, with a dash of forgiveness from a 14mm core – this paddle is the thing."

Excellent paddle. It has a good feel with a nice grippy handle. It seems to make shots better, particularly shots closer to the edge of the paddle that are normally not very strong. It is also very adept at applying spin.

I absolutely love this racquet! It makes retrieving those balls that seem to be out of reach so much easier.

I have been using an old paddle for about 8 years and decided to get a new one. I like a "smaller" profile in a paddle, rounded corners rather than wide shoulders at the top. I also like a longer handle (old racquetball player) which lets me hit with a fast swing. It plays well and has a good feel and balance. I like it.
