GAMMA 505 Graphite Paddle
The 505 Graphite Paddle is an elongated offering with a generous handle length to provide enhanced follow-through and power. It combines GAMMA’s textured graphite face, with their NeuCore polymer honeycomb which results in a 5/8" thick core that creates a muted, responsive feel that is aptly described as "controllable power."The 505 Graphite Paddle's weight range is from 7.5 – 7.7 oz., keeping it at a manageable weight despite its extended shape. It has a textured graphite surface which lends itself to spin and ball control, while the 5-1/4" long handle allows for two-handed backhands. The 505 arrives wrapped in GAMMA's famed "honeycomb" cushioned and perforated grip for a moisture-resistant, tacky feel around a thin 4-1/8" handle circumference.
The 505 Graphite Pickleball Paddle by GAMMA is a responsive option that makes it easier to work on finesse shots while maintaining fantastic control.

"The new GAMMA 505 was introduced at the 2021 Margaritaville USA Pickleball Nationals Championships Presented by Pickleball Central. I got to play the paddle one night for rec play and I really like how this paddle performs. It uses the same core (GAMMA's NeuCore) and face material (graphite) as the GAMMA Shard model, but with a different shape. The handle is longer, and the paddle is slightly longer and narrower overall. The sweet spot moved a little higher on the paddle face and the extra length makes it slightly more powerful.
The feel of the paddle is soft (less feedback) and makes for a very consistent short game. With the shape, I could also feel a little more pop on the drives and overheads. This makes for a good all court paddle. Any player who is a fan of the Shard, Compass, or Hellbender models from GAMMA should check this bad boy out. It borrows a little bit from the best aspects of all those paddles, and puts them together in a very attractive package.
The shape was inspired by GAMMA Pro Players, Lindsey and Riley Newman. Their paddles (Lindsey's Havoc model, and Riley's 206 model are both forthcoming) feature a fiberglass face, so will surely arrive with a bit more pop."

Like new paddle .. only had it for a few weeks ..,and surface appears to be chipping ?? Customer Service was great and I appreciate they do price matching.
