HEAD Radical Tour Grit Carbon and Graphite Pickleball Paddle

The HEAD Radical Tour Grit 2024 Pickleball Paddle packs outrageous power, dastardly spin potential, and plenty of strength into its standard shape. At the heart of this paddle’s performance is a 15mm polymer core surrounded by a foam sidewall. This combination creates a top-of-the-line combination of pop, vibration dampening, strength, and control. The ball jumps off the face upon impact, while also limiting vibrations that run down the handle and up your arm. Meanwhile, the foam sidewall allows this paddle to resist twisting on off-center strikes and expands the sweet spot to cover the majority of the face, helping you benefit from the pop on all of your strikes.

Not to be outdone, the 7 7/8” wide carbon and graphite hitting surface of the HEAD Radical Tour Grit 2024 Pickleball Paddle brings plenty of control, spin, and some pop of its own. While the control comes from the linger time created by carbon fiber, the spin comes from the gritty and rough SpinGrid surface pattern. Spingard uses a unique process that provides long lasting texture. Toss in a little rebound that sends the ball popping off the face, and you have a paddle you can trust on passes, drives, and put-aways.

The Radical Tour Grit 2024 Paddle from HEAD brings all-court performance with a distinctly powerful and spin happy feel to players who are looking to be the best.

Grittier Surface than many competing paddle. There is lots of control and spin capabilities. The Carbon-Graphite paddle face help to create plenty of power. An excellent paddle to own without going broke.

Another great product from Head. Ball comes off paddle with a lot of power and loud clicking sound that I like.

Paddle weight is good, but it feels like the weight is more in the handle and less in the hitting area. Good control, but less power, at least as compared to the Paddletek Tempest Wave Pro I used to play with. Both paddles are roughly the same overall weight but the TWP has more power.

Love this paddle! Had been using a Tour Gravity and wanted to upgrade. So tried both a Six Zero Double Black Diamond 16 and a Carbon 16. Much preferred the Head Tour Grit. Don’t get me wrong - both of those others are great paddles, but I just didn’t feel the same level of “pop” as I did with the Head Radical Tour, and they all had about the same amount of touch at the kitchen. I’ll be sticking with the Head Radical tour Grift for the foreseeable future.

It's OK. I don't see very much difference in the Head paddle I bought 4 years ago.* **PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review!
