Gearbox CX11E Elongated Power Carbon Fiber PaddleThe Gearbox CX11E Elongated Power Pickleball Paddle uses Solid Span Technology (SST) in the core to offer a reactive and agile feel. The core uses hand-laid T-700 graphite chambers which provide tons of pop and touch with less effort in your swing. In addition, the core cannot delaminate like other paddles (preventing the formation of dead spots), which results in excellent consistency over time. The lengthy 16-5/8" face of the paddle lets players easily defend across the whole court and create more spin in their follow-through.
The Gearbox CX11E Power Paddle also has a longer-than-average handle length at 5-5/8" to create space for potent double-handed backhands. The grip circumference can be 3-5/8" or 3-15/16" for additional padding. It comes in a 7.8 oz. weight in the blue color, or 8.5 oz. weight in green. A slender 11 mm core keeps the design easy to handle and facilitates quick reactions at the net despite its length.
The CX11E Elongated Power Pickleball Paddle by Gearbox will give you more strength and accuracy in your hands with less effort needed for precise placement.
Reviews of the CX11E Power Elongated Paddle by Pickleball Central Staff:
"As I tested the new Gearbox CX line, I really expected to lean in to the CX14 with the thick core. And while I did like that paddle, I found the new CX11E Power 8.5 fit my game even better. It features an 11mm thin core like the GX5 Power and GX6 Power models. However, it is enhanced with new 3K Woven Carbon Fiber across the face. This makes the paddle play softer than its predecessors (though not as soft as the CX14). What I like was the increased pop I got off the CX11. And I found that the tougher the competition I played, the better the paddle performed. When reaction time is reduced, I had to let the paddle do more of the work; and work it did. I found great placement on shots as I advanced to the kitchen. Once there, my short game was solid with a consistent feel from the paddle on my dinks. I look forward to more time on the court with the new Gearbox line and seeing what different weights and tape bring to the performance."

I love this paddle. Easy to swing but gives me the power to hit the ball. Quite amazing!!

The paddle works well. I like the elongated shape, weight, edgeless design, and solid surface. My only disappointment is the tacky tape on the handle. I will add new tape that is breathable.

I've been playing with this new paddle about 2 weeks I love it. Initially I thought the grip might be a little small, but I soon found out how well it feels in my hand and how easy it is to adjust to whatever type of play is going on the court. I primarily play in Palm Springs California where wind can be a factor so having a paddle that provides control and great power is a must. This CX 11E has been outstanding for me and I highly recommend it.

Love this paddle. Really improved my game. Great spin, solid feel on contact. Longer, extra small grip increases striking options and feel. Love it.
Just What I Needed

I've been using thicker paddles the last year and my game has really improved at the net but I felt I was missing a little pop to keep the ball deep when I wanted to. I thought I would try Gearbox known for its power and when the CX11e came out it made my decision for me. I have been only using the paddle for a month now but wow. It has been a significant boost to my game. I love the edgeless design. The sweet spot seems a little larger than my other high- end elongated paddles. I got the 8.5 oz version and it seems very easy on my elbow. But the power, that's what I really was looking for. This paddle is quick and responsive at the net, but has added an element of confidence knowing I can move the ball to any area of the court when needed. I think I really prefer the graphite core in this paddle compared to the laminated polycore in my previous paddles. Coming from a racquetball background, I also appreciate the thinner handle on the CX11E.
