Built to provide players with long-reaching control, the Engage Pursuit Pro MX 6.0 Pickleball Paddle balances an elongated shape (for power) with multiple control-oriented features. The extended 5.75" long handle not only leaves room for both hands to plow through ground strokes but also offers Variable Flex Technology that flexes to add power on overheads, while staying rigid on softer shots like drops and blocks for added control. Similar in proportions to the original Pursuit MX 6.0 paddle, the 10.75" long by 7.5" wide Raw Toray T700 Carbon Fiber hitting surface further provides control by combining maximum grit with impressive ball dwell time for effortless spin and a soft, forgiving feel.
Uniform Guard Technology works to protect the precise Toray hitting surface of the Pursuit Pro MX 6.0, while also assisting in dampening vibrations and distributing force. To complete the package, the 16mm (0.63") thick Control Pro "Black" Polymer honeycomb core complemented with Vortex Barrier injected-foam edge technology. This combination expands the sweet spot that sits high on the face, while also limiting vibration and increasing twist weight so the paddle stays solid and consistent in the hand. Lastly, Counter Balance Technology places the balance point closer to your hand to help this elongated paddle play more quickly at the net, and even work to limit fatigue.

I love my new paddle from Engage. I tried eight different paddles and this is the one I decided on. It added more spin to my serves and dinks which I was looking for. It has lots of power but not too much like some of the other paddles I tried. It performed consistent, if that makes sense, to what I was looking for in a new paddle. If you are demoing new paddles I'd try this paddle from Engage.

This is my third MX from Engage. I started with the fiberglass, then the graphite and now the carbon. I like everything about this paddle. Engage makes great products that stand up to the wear and tear of daily play. The length and shape of the grip, the shape and balance of the face all suit my game, which is more of a "banger" style. I've added lead tape to all three paddles; from the 9 position, across the top to the 3 position. I find it adds pop and stability to the. But, be judicious, too much tape and you may have trouble with dinks and keeping the ball in the court. This is a great paddle that give me the confidence to "bang" away knowing the control and spin will help me keep the ball in play. I've tried a lot of different paddles, but always end up going back to the MX.

Got the paddle about 2 weeks ago and the service, help, and delivery from Pickleballcentral.com was outstanding. I'm in my late 70's so don't play as much as in the past so have only used the paddle twice. But it's improved my game tremendously. It's truly a game changer like when I changed from the old wooden tennis racquets to the original green aluminum Prince 110. This is my first carbon fiber paddle but I'm really glad I got it and highly recommend it!

I like the paddle except for the grip circumference. The paddle had great spin and control for drops and resets. I just wish the grip was 4.25.

Excellent feel & great control AND power.. I tend to play more of a finesse game and this has definitely upped my game
