AMPED Invikta X5 FiberFlex Paddle
The AMPED Invikta X5 Paddle was designed in conjunction with national champion Tyson McGuffin to provide extreme reach without reducing the paddle's sweet spot. As a result, the Invikta has power, a pleasant touch and versatility that will allow you to react quickly to any scenario. Unlike most elongated paddles, it also has a sizable handle length that allows for more maneuverability and comfort. The AMPED Invikta X5 comes with a versatile medium grip which measures 5-1/4" long. The weight range is 7.3 - 7.8 oz for the light model and 7.9 - 8.4 oz for the standard. The polymer core reduces impact while creating a feeling of consistent control. Selkirk's curving "S" logo is located near the paddle's head while the model name is printed below. Choose from thin or standard grip size.
The AMPED Invikta X5 will have you driving balls down the court and winning matches with its well-balanced yet powerful construction.
NOTE: Weights are calculated with a Standard Grip. Choosing a Thin Grip will reduce the weight by approximately 0.2 ounce.

Powerful, but not forgiving...
Jun 3, 2023
First off, I love the Selkirk Amped line of paddles. The balance of power and control is excellent. Having used the S2 Amped for quite a while, I thought I would try the Invikta to see if I would like the additional power and spin. Yes, I felt the difference in both power and spin, but also experienced a noticeable difference in the number of mishits at the net when blocking drives... I guess the S2 spoiled me with the very large sweet spot... even if you are off center a bit with the S2, you're likely to be able to pull off the shot. So cudos to the Invikta for power and spin, but I'll pass on the trade off for the S2 sweet spot! I'm a much more consistent player with the Amped S2.

I like this paddle. I think it plays very well. I play both singles and doubles and use it for both. I like the power. I wish it had a slightly better feel, and more spin. I know that Selkirk has new paddles with Carbon Fiber in this model. I have tried them and found that those paddles have an insignificant increase in spin and feel, however, not enough to justify the cost. For the money the invikta amped is every bit as effective for my game. I play 4.5.
