As part of adidas' high-end line, the ADIPOWER CTRL 2 Pickleball Paddle offers an easily reloadable traditional shape, powerful hitting surface, and a high-density poly core that retains enough control to help you keep shots in play and outlast your opponent. The 11" x 8" Aluminumized Carbon face with a rough Spin Blade Max texture encourages quick play near the net, spinning cut shots, and adds pop on your ground strokes. This hitting surface is further reinforced with carbon fiber around the edge and across the lower face to add torsional rigidity and durability, resulting in consistent response and added confidence on the court.
While the 14mm (0.55") thickness of the ADIPOWER CTRL 2 may make you think of control, and to a point, it should, but the High Density (HD) Polypropylene Honeycomb core ratchets up the power a bit by packing in more small-diameter honeycomb cells per square inch. To balance out the power elements engineered into this paddle, the core situates a large sweet spot dead in the center to limit miss hits and allow this paddle to earn its "CTRL" (control) moniker. The 5" handle wrapped in a tacky and cushioned grip limits vibrations up your arm and ensures you are quick during fast exchanges at the kitchen.
