SLK by Selkirk Graphite Atlas Control Widebody Paddle

The SLK Graphite Atlas Control Widebody Paddle is a powerful paddle that feels great in the hand and retains control for technical play. The dual-layer graphite face plays consistently while creating a nice sense of touch as the polymer PowerCore adds more backbone and punch to every hit. This mix of precision and strength make for a paddle that feels natural while improving overall performance.

The SLK Graphite Atlas Control Widebody Paddle provides excellent quality at a reasonable price. It weighs 7.5 - 8.0 oz making it a medium weight that will feel comfortable to most players. The handle is 5-¼" long, a bit longer than the industry average, providing more reach and room for the hand. The grip has a medium circumference and the face width measures 8-¼", creating a broad and reactive sweet spot.

The SLK Graphite Atlas Control Widebody Paddle has the versatility to suit almost any player's style while providing extra advantages thanks to top-notch design. (Note - the SLK series is Selkirk's value line which is designed in Hayden, ID, and manufactured in China)

I had an issue with one of the paddles I purchased. The rubber seal had come loose from the paddle. PBC sent me a new paddle with a return label and packaging. Zero hassle and really quick turnaround. Why can’t all companies be this easy to work with?

I am new to pickleball and this paddle from a very reputable manufacturer was in the price range I was looking for. It has a very comfortable grip and the widebody silhouette I wanted, since I felt that control was more important than power for me. It does seem quite forgiving on off sweet spot hits. As expected, I have to provide my own power.
