Six Zero Ruby Pro 14mm Aramid Pickleball Paddle

It seems that every single Six Zero release turns our head, and the Ruby Pro 14mm Pickleball Paddle is no different. Designed as a clear upgrade to the original Ruby 14mm paddle, the Pro adds top of the line features to the trusted 16.3" by 7.7" hybrid shape that Ruby fans are already familiar with. The two-hand capable 5.5" handle also returns, but this time it is injected with Shock Shield technology that dampens vibrations and improves feel while limiting injury.

The Ruby Pro brings back a thermoformed construction, but this time packs it full of a 14mm PolyPropylene core with 12mm cells. These expanded cells team up with a proprietary Power Gel layer to absorb and respond, enhancing both dwell time and power. A carbon and foam roll perimeter further supports this core for plow-through ability, while the Diamond Tough coated Aramid hitting surface actually gets grittier over time, allowing us to trust the rigidity and dwell time to impart outrageously high spin rates on all of our shots. The Ruby Pro takes everything we loved about the Ruby but adds power, spin potential, and comfort. This current version features a slightly reduced surface texture to meet both UPA-A and USAP standards.

NOTE - customers cannot select the color of used paddles, and used paddles are not eligible for return. Please see more info in the FAQ section, below.

Six Zero is an Official Paddle Sponsor of the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA Tour).

Expert Review
"The Ruby Pro feels like the Ruby's more aggressive sibling. We still get the dwell and spin that made the original so popular, but the thinner core, Power Gel, and perimeter reinforcement make it noticeably quicker through drives, counters, and put-aways."

Frequently Asked Questions

+ How does the Ruby Pro compare to the original Ruby?
The Ruby Pro builds on the original Ruby platform by adding a thinner 14mm core, Power Gel technology, Shock Shield handle technology, and a reinforced perimeter design. The result is a faster, more powerful response while maintaining much of the dwell time and spin players loved in the original Ruby.
+ Is the Ruby Pro a power paddle or a control paddle?
The Ruby Pro leans toward power and aggressive all-court play. The 14mm core and Power Gel layer provide more pace on drives, counters, and put-aways than the original Ruby while still offering enough dwell time for resets and spin-heavy shots.
+ What makes the Aramid face unique?
The Diamond Tough coated Aramid surface offers a unique blend of durability, dwell time, and spin potential. Unlike many traditional carbon fiber faces, it develops additional texture through use, helping maintain impressive spin performance over time.
+ Can I use a two-handed backhand with the Ruby Pro?
Yes. The 5.5" handle provides enough room for most players to comfortably execute a two-handed backhand while still offering plenty of maneuverability during quick exchanges.
+ What does the reduced surface texture mean?
This version features a slightly reduced surface texture so it complies with both UPA-A and USAP standards. The paddle still delivers excellent spin and feel while meeting current certification requirements.
+ What should I expect if I purchase the Used Paddle option?
The Used Paddle option may include open-box, demo, customer-returned, cosmetically blemished, or otherwise gently used paddles. Each paddle is inspected before being offered for sale. Used paddles can be any of the colors pictured above and colors may vary from the paddle pictures. Customers cannot select the color of used paddles.

Used paddles are sold as final sale items and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless the paddle has been materially misrepresented.
