You can return any* paddle purchased from Pickleball Central within 30 days of the date of purchase for a refund or store credit.
Choosing a paddle can be difficult, that’s why Pickleball Central allows customers to try and return paddles if they aren’t the right fit. There is no charge or special opt-in. If you buy a new paddle from us and you don’t like it, you can send it back for a refund or credit. We try to make this as simple as possible, but a few details and conditions do apply (see below).

  • Paddles sold as Used and items marked as Final Sale are excluded from our 30-day Paddle Test Drive
  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the date of purchase
  • Paddles must not be modified or personalized
  • Excessively worn and abused paddles may not be eligible for refund
  • Pickleball Central offers an option at checkout for free returns coverage. If you do not purchase free returns coverage at checkout, you are responsible for paying return shipping on 30-Day Test Drive returns and other discretionary returns.

We strive to serve customers the way we want to be served when shopping online. If there is an issue with your order or the product you ordered from us, our team will do everything reasonably expected and possible to help resolve the issue.

Defective Products, and Warranty Claims

If the product you purchase is defective, please contact us within 30 days and we will send you a replacement. If a direct replacement is not available, we will provide Pickleball Central store credit. Please contact us prior to returning equipment to verify it is within policy. If you are outside of the 30 days, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for assistance with warranty issues.

DISCLAIMERS

Due to increased levels of fraudulent returns activity, we have restricted automated returns and refunds which meet certain criteria. If your return request is denied through our automated system, please call or email our Customer Service team for assistance.

To receive a refund or credit for a return, Pickleball Central must confirm receipt of the returned package. Value for products missing from returns cannot be refunded or credited. Returned packages must be shipped using the return-shipping label provided by Pickleball Central, our third party returns partner Redo, or a label purchased directly from a major carrier such as UPS, FedEx, or the US Postal Service. Pickleball Central reserves the right to void or reject returns in cases of suspected fraud. Returns fraud will be reported to relevant authorities.

RETURN POLICIES and Details by Product Type

  • General: 30 days for any reason—policies and refunds vary by product type and condition
  • Defectives/Mis-ships for any product are covered by Pickleball Central for 30 days from date of purchase. We will re-ship, refund or provide store credit. Defective products and warranty claims may require photo or video to confirm condition.
  • We accept returns from US, Canada and US Territories.
  • If opted into our Returns Protection coverage by REDO at checkout then return shipping is free. Otherwise, customers may purchase return shipping or if processed by Pickleball Central Customer Service, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund/credit.
  • Product returned outside of policy may not be refunded or face restocking fees up to 50% at sole discretion of Pickleball Central
Paddles & Paddle Accessories

Paddles & Paddle Accessories (paddle covers, grips, edge tape): 30 days for any reason (see 30-Day Paddle Test Drive)

  • Customer pays shipping on discretionary returns unless opted into Redo free returns coverage.
  • Returned paddles may not be modified. Added grips, edge tape, writing on paddles voids 30-day test drive.
  • Paddles returned outside of policy may not be refunded or face restocking fee up to 50% of total order value at sole discretion of Pickleball Central.
Shoes, Apparel, Eyewear, Balls, Bags, Books, etc.

Shoes, Apparel, Eyewear, Balls, Bags, Books etc.: 30 days for any reason

  • Customer pays return shipping unless opted into Redo free returns coverage
  • Shoes, Balls & Bags must be in new condition, no wear, in original packaging with all tags etc.
  • Apparel must be unwashed, unworn with original tags
  • Packaging must be in new condition, no wear, stickers etc.
  • Manufacturer shoe boxes must be placed in an outer box for return shipping.
  • Shoes and bags and Apparel returned outside of policy may not be refunded or face restocking fee up to 50% of total order value at sole discretion of Pickleball Central.
Nets, ball machines, court accessories, training aids

Nets, ball machines, court accessories, training aids: 30 days for any reason

  • Customer pays return shipping on discretionary returns unless opted into Redo free returns coverage
  • Returned nets and training aids including ball machines and ball machine accessories will be assessed a base 15% restocking fee*
  • *25% restocking on heavy duty and permanent net systems including Douglas Premier Net Systems, C&D Nets, Selkirk Nets, (and in ground posts – Dominator & Har Tru)
  • Contact PBC for authorization and instructions on these heavy duty items.
Used/Clearance/Final Sale
  • No returns on Used/Clearance/Final Sale
  • Defectives/Mis-ships get re-ship or store credit
Pickleball Machines
  • Dependent on manufacturer return policy

  • Customer pays return shipping on discretionary returns
  • 15% Restocking fee charged on all Pickleball Machine returns.
Purchased at a Tournament Store or “Powered by Pickleball Central” Pro Shop?

Our Warranty for Pickleball Central & House-Brand Products

Our products are protected against manufacturer, material, and workmanship defects. Please contact us as soon as possible if an issue arises. To qualify for our warranty, products should not be altered or modified from original form, and proof of purchase must be provided at time of inquiry. Our warranties are as follows:
  • Paddles: 1 year from date of purchase
  • Nets/Net Systems: 60 days from date of purchase
  • Bags/Covers: 6 months from date of purchase

Q: Can I return a paddle I tried?
A: Yes—paddles purchased new can be returned within 30 days of purchase for refund or store credit.
Q: What paddles don’t qualify?
A: Paddles that were purchased Used and Final Sale or Clearance items.
Q: Can I return a modified paddle?
A: No—no modifications/personalization (grip swaps, edge tape, writing, etc.).
Q: Who pays return shipping?
A: Pickleball Central will pay your return shipping if a customer order arrives damaged or if Pickleball Central made an error in shipping an order Pickleball Central will pay for return shipping and replacement or cover refund unless the product is eligible and requires a warranty claim with the manufacturer. We also cover shipping cost on returns if the customer purchased Returns and Shipping Protection at the time of checkout. Otherwise, the customer pays return shipping for discretionary/Test Drive returns.

Fees / special categories
Q: Are there restocking fees?
A: Some items may have fees—nets/training aids typically 15%, heavy-duty net systems 25%, pickleball machines 15%. Refunds for returns outside policy may be reduced or denied.
Q: Pickleball machine returns?
A: Manufacturer-dependent—Machines are heavy and expensive to ship, please contact us for instructions.
Extra notes
Q: Why was my automated return denied?
A: Some returns are restricted due to fraud prevention or special item or brand conditions, we may still accept a return but need to collect some more information to process it, please email us at returns@pickleballcentral.com.
Q: When do I get my refund/credit?
A: After we receive and confirm the return. We generally process within 7 days of receiving the return but please note returns processing may be delayed mid-December through mid-February.
Q: How do I return something purchased from a Pickleball Central physical retail location (Tournament / “Powered by Pickleball Central” store)?
A: Items purchased from a Pickleball Central physical location should be returned to the same location they were purchased from. For warranty claims on items purchased at a Pickleball Central physical retail location email returns@pickleballcentral.com with your name/phone, item, purchase date/location, and last 4 digits of the card used for the purchase and we’ll help process your return.
