Similarly to the player who helped develop it, the 7.9-ounce Tyson McGuffin Magnus 3 14mm Paddle from JOOLA is packed with power. At the heart of this powerful feel is the new 14mm Propulsion core. This core offers a familiar combination of a foam perimeter and honeycomb core but separates itself from the pack with how they interact. The center of the core is actually suspended by the foam, which allows it to act like a trampoline behind the ball to add power with every strike. This trampolining hardly limits the core’s ability to offer a soft feel, solid feedback, and an expanded sweet spot.
