Gearbox CX11Q Quad Power Pickleball Paddle
The Gearbox CX11Q Quad Power Pickleball Paddle has a big sweet spot with a robust and durable construction. You'll feel more force in your swings thanks to the Solid Span Technology (SST) used in the core, made up of individual graphite chambers which boost reactivity. This one-of-a-kind design patented by Gearbox also eliminates the risk of delamination so you can count on your paddle to play reliably over time. Players with a more aggressive play style will enjoy this paddle's ability to quickly seize on openings in their opponents' defense. The Gearbox CX11Q Power Paddle weighs in at 7.8 oz. if ordered in the red color, or 8.5 oz. in blue. It features a standard 4-3/4" handle length with a circumference in either a 3-5/8" or 3-15/16" size. The overall length of 15-7/8" gives the paddle a nice amount of reach so you can take control over the entire court and extend to return drop shots. An 11mm core keeps the profile trim and speedy so you can focus on your next volley rather than having to struggle against bulky equipment.
The CX11Q Quad Power Pickleball Paddle by Gearbox is an excellent choice for those wanting a responsive, strong and versatile model that will improve reaction time.
Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

I have a C I play with a CX14Q. I purchased the CX11Q because I wanted a little more power and the handle length was shorter. It would have been perfect if it was a little shorter

Good Paddle but has limitations

Overall, I have mixed feelings with the Gearbox CX 11 Power paddle. I have found that you have to hit the ball in the middle "sweet spot" with this paddle If you hit the ball near the edges of the paddle, the ball will come off the paddle very weakly. For a $200 paddle, I was expecting better results with off center hits.

Review of Gearbox CX11Q Power PB Paddle
Mar 16, 2022
I did not care for this paddle. I had previously borrowed a GX5 Power, GX5 Control and GX6 Control Elongated. I like them all. Reviewing the CX11Q online I thought it would be even better. But, it felt very weak on serves and drives. That's just me. I have seen quite a few players at Palm Creek Resort with the CX11Q's, so it works for a lot of players.
