Aura uses Friday’s Gen 4 foam construction built around a 16mm EPP foam core and patent-pending ElasTech rubber perimeter. The result is a noticeably soft, trampoline-like contact that absorbs pace during dinks and resets while still returning energy efficiently on full swings. The carbon fiber face stabilizes the paddle during drives and counters, creating dependable plow-through when you accelerate. What separates Aura is the power curve. Soft swings stay controlled, but when we increase swing speed the paddle responds with virtually exponential pop. Combined with the elongated 16.5" shape, we gain extra reach and leverage for topspin drives and slams without sacrificing touch in the soft game.
