What is Court Connections? Stories that Go Beyond the Game

At Pickleball Central, we have a special connection to the multigenerational appeal of pickleball. Our founders, David and Anna, were introduced to pickleball because Anna’s parents started playing. Inspired by their family's newfound passion for the sport, David and Anna wanted to get them gifts to celebrate their pickleball journey. However, they were surprised to find a lack of pickleball-themed merchandise available. Undeterred, they took matters into their own hands and began making pickleball-themed t-shirts in their garage.

What started as a small passion project in 2006 has since grown into PickleballCentral.com, the leading destination for all things pickleball. From our humble beginnings, we've remained dedicated to serving the pickleball community and spreading the joy of the sport to players of all ages and backgrounds.

Pickleball truly is a game for everyone—you can play from any age, from 6 all the way up to 91! It's not uncommon to see grandparents teaching their grandkids, or kids teaching their parents. It's a fantastic bonding experience that brings families together and creates lasting memories. Plus, it's just plain fun!

Today, Engage Pickleball remains a family-owned business, with Robert's children, Josh and Rachel, actively involved in shaping the company's future.
