Designed for power, reach, and world class spin, the original Proton Series One Type A Elongated 11mm Pickleball Paddle was an immediate hit with pros and casual players alike. After putting the original through the ringer, Proton is happy to intoduce the updated Proton Series One Type A Elongated 11mm Player Model Pickleball Paddle. The Player Model is designed with a more precise weighting system that shaves the weight to 7.8-ounces, down from 8-ounces. This slight change of weight adds hand speed and reload ability to an already prolific paddle. 

Returning to the Proton Series One Type A Elongated 11mm Player Model is the 11” x 7.5” Aerospace Grade Carbon Fiber hitting surface with NanoTac texture. In this surface the NanoTac texture is integrated into the carbon fiber for long lasting tac that grips the ball as it dwells on the rigid carbon fiber, helping us spin it like the pros. Another update versus the original is to the 11mm Proton Polypropylene Honeycomb core. Now more responsive, this core helps us drive more shots past our opponents, without losing the expanded sweet spot, cushioned feel, and vibration dampening that we fell in love with on the original. Also returning is the 5.5" handle that, thanks to the increased manueverability of a lighter weight, feels just a smidge longer when we really need it to. You gotta try this new one.
