Swinger Wood Pickleball Paddle
The Swinger Wood Pickleball Paddle is an extremely sturdy and well-priced, albeit heavy, wood paddle. Crafted from a resilient, five-ply hardwood, this paddle is sure to last throughout countless games. Many YMCAs, schools, recreation centers and other groups purchase this paddle for beginners and to use for loaner paddles. However, its heavy weight makes it best for adults. The face of the paddle is embellished with a visually-interesting, grid-like pattern. This paddle has a white rope wrist strap, which aims to keep the paddle in the player’s hand and off the ground. The handle itself is wrapped with a black grip. The handle overlaps the end of the paddle’s face, creating a small ridge on either side of the paddle.The Swinger paddle weighs a hefty 9.7 to 11 ounces, with an average weight of 10.3 ounces. This paddle has a small grip size which can easily be built up to make it larger. The paddle’s handle is 4-1/2” long, and the overall length of the paddle is 15-3/4”. This paddle has a wide face, measuring 8” wide.
The Swinger Wood paddle is a terrific and nearly-indestructible paddle.

This is a larger paddle that is 5 ply thick. It used to be 7 ply. The 7 ply gave a bigger 'sweet spot' which I liked, however it was a little slower to swing due to its weight. I like the 5 ply, but
far prefered the 7 ply. Overall, I prefer the wood paddles over the graphite.

I bought these paddles for a community center pickleball club and they are perfect for this type of use. They are almost indestructible and quite cheap. Although they are on the heavy side
it's exactly what I needed.
