Vulcan V560 Power Pickleball PaddleThe Vulcan V560 Power Paddle has the raw materials you need to take control of the court and consistently play with speed, strength and precision. This paddle has a classic shape with an elongated handle so you can seamlessly perform double-handed backhands and quickly change up your grip. Its reactive face is ideal for sending back zingers and developing the hand-paddle connection.
The Vulcan V560 Power Paddle weighs an average of 8.4 oz which gives it even more "pop" in every swing. The handle length is 5 1/2" long with a medium grip circumference. The polypropylene core offers a stable feel with great durability and consistency. The face is made from a carbon fiber blend which provides a solid, extra rigid construction that creates an immediate response when a pickleball strikes the surface.
The Vulcan V560 Power Paddle is an adaptable and tough model that will stand up to aggressive play.
Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8"
Reviews of the V560 Power and V560 Control Paddles by Pickleball Central Staff:"I enjoy hitting with an elongated paddle. I feel like I can attack a ball more with this shape. And the V560 is one of those great in between shapes. It measures 16 1/2” long by 7 1/2” wide, so while it is not as long and narrow as the V550, it is longer than all the other Vulcan paddles. Compared to the V550, I feel more comfortable blocking with this paddle at the net. In addition, when I go for a passing shot the power is absolutely there. At 13mm, this paddle is not as thick as many of the competitors on the market. The thinner cores like this tend to play with more power, and this is true for this paddle. You really feel the ball on the paddle and can generate just a little more power than with their 16mm core models.
The surprise for me is that the Power version of the paddle is a carbon fiber paddle, while the Control version of the paddle is made of fiberglass. Normally I find the opposite to be true. However, I felt the difference here. I seemed to hit harder with the carbon fiber version. There is more ‘pop’ off the face of fiberglass version, but the overall power I could generate was greater with the carbon fiber.
I like both versions. I found the V560 Control stayed in the court more easily at first. But the joy of hitting the V560 Power just a little harder won me over."

Vulcan V560 Power Paddle

This is the second one I purchased because I figured it's nice to have a backup. I wish Vulcan made this paddle 16 inches long and 8 inches wide, in addition to it's current 16.5 inches long and 7.5 inches wide, because it might increase the sweet spot.
First one got stolen.

Love the paddle but the edge banding separated from the frame during the first week. Fortunately, PBC replaced the paddle and no issues so far with the new one

Woohoo! I got my V560 Power paddle today and played about 2.5 hours with it and was very impressed. Vulcan has put together a heck of a nice paddle that lets you hit HARD while still preserving a nice touch, balance, and decent sized sweet spot. I liked the longer handle for the additional torque on ground strokes & serves but it would also be a good choice for someone using a 2 handed backhand.
