JOOLA Ben Johns Perseus CFS 16mm Textured Carbon Fiber Control Paddle

Full video review of the Ben Johns Perseus CFS 16 Pickleball Paddle!

The long-awaited follow up to the first immensely successful Ben Johns Hyperion CFS 16 paddle, the Ben Johns Perseus CFS 16 Carbon Fiber Paddle delicately pairs power and control to help you play to your highest potential. This 8.0-ounce paddle pairs a powerful elongated shape with a thick but poppy 16mm (0.63") core. The 11" by 7.5" Carbon Friction Surface and 5.5" long handle create the elongated shape that adds leverage and power, while the thick core and stiff "charged" carbon fiber face cause the ball to compress and linger just a tad longer which helps you control the ball and add spin that keeps it within the lines. The two-hander-friendly handle arrives wrapped in JOOLA's tacky Sure Grip and works with the elongated shape to help you create even more swing speed on drives and overheads.

The 16mm Reactive Honeycomb Polymer core at the heart of the Perseus CFS 16 paddle is what allows this paddle to provide you ultimate control in addition to the elongated power. This core uses a honeycomb design and injected hyperfoam around the edges, and thermoformed construction to properly pair pop with vibration dampening and a large sweet spot that helps you dink with precision, control passing shots, and place your returns deep in the court. Meanwhile, the 1/8" edge guard overlapping the paddle face protects the hitting surface to keep this paddle in tip top shape throughout a long season.

The Ben Johns Perseus CFS 16 Carbon Fiber Paddle from JOOLA Pickleball provides the power and control you would expect from a paddle with Ben's name on it.

This paddle gave me a huge improvement in both power and control. It allows me to spin the ball at much higher RPM when I cut it, dink it with better feel, and hit deep with ease.

Great paddle, awesome control and some decent power! Overall I would like to see this paddle at $200 but still worth it.

The only reason it doesn’t receive a five star with me is the grip on the paddle you can’t find replacements for it

This paddle just has it all. The feel is fantastic. It can perform on any shot and has a smooth sweet spot.

  • Better than Selkirk Invikta Power Air

This paddle has great feel at the net, good power, and great spin. Selkirk Invikta power air may have a little more power, but the feel of this paddle is way better than the Selkirk. Definitely recommend. 5 stars.

I LOVE this paddle. My son got one and told me about it. I like that it is head heavy. The power is phenomenal. I am getting to low balls better and my overhead is more powerful. I like the longer handle. I had no need to put tape on the paddle for weight.
