Made with Gearbox’s proprietary SST (Solid Span Technology), the core is constructed with hand-laid graphite chambers, rather than a polypropylene honeycomb design as is the case with most pickleball paddles. The core, face, and handle are then heated and cured as a one-piece structure, eliminating face/core delamination and strengthening the face/neck junction to minimize breakage.
