To enhance control, the Pursuit Ultra EX 6.0 paddle boasts a 5/8" (16mm) thick Control Pro Black Polymer core. This thick core creates a soft feel that controls paddle compression and ball rebound rate, and making the 6.0 the thicker, softer sibling to Engage's Pursuit Ultra EX Paddle. Layering on a measure of power, Engage's new Vortex Barrier edge technology injects a composite material into the outer honeycomb cells, increasing the swingweight (and therefore, power), spreading out the sweet spot, aiding in paddle balance, and reducing impact vibrations which cause tennis elbow and other arm injuries.
