adidas RX44 Fiberglass Pickleball PaddleThe adidas RX44 Composite Fiberglass Paddle will feel familiar from the get-go. This paddle echoes back to many of the traditional paddles of the game, but with some brand new technology. A fiberglass face provides power to keep your opponents back at the baseline, and the high-density 14.28mm (0.56") thick poly core enlarges the sweet spot throughout the center of the paddle.
The adidas RX44 Paddle features carbon reinforcement in the frame to make it durable, and adidas' Spin Blade technology on the face will increase feeling and spin on your shots. The 16" long by 8" wide overall dimensions lend to its traditional shape. And the 4-3/4" long handle will feel right at home in your hand with its 4-1/8" grip circumference. This paddle allows you to determine your style of play – you can attack with power, or defend and control with accurate ball placement.

Dominate... From a Place of Comfort
Sep 21, 2021
I had no idea what to expect from this paddle after reading its description, "dominate the game from comfort." The paddle looks like it's ready to battle with its mix of neon green and reds against the black Adidas background. This paddle looks so sharp that I wanted to put it on a shirt or my gear bag. Even its name, the RX44, sounds cool. But I still did not know what Adidas meant by domination and comfort until I actually got to play with it. The domination comes from the combination of the high density core and its weight distribution in the head. This paddle has some zip! The comfort is derived from its fiber glass composition which makes all of your shots, from soft to power, a little easier. The grip has little holes and for lack of a better word, this makes it feel more grippy. Who wouldn't be comfortable with that? I think that this paddle is best suited for someone who has moved past the beginner stage, mastered the basics, and has happily arrived at the intermediate level. A player who is comfortable with raising their game to the next level. A big welcome to Adidas for entering into the pickleball paddle world.
Great Paddle for All Levels of Players

I liked the look of the paddle. It has a neat color green which stands out. The cushioned grip is quite comfortable. The grip eliminated any slippage for playing in heat and long points. The grip length is good for players with two handed back hands. When I first picked up the paddle it had a solid feel and it plays that way. The paddle would be great for players that like a head heavier feel. I felt no vibration in contact with pickleballs with all my shots. The Adidas RX44 is a control/touch paddle. It gave me confidence in my ground strokes and dink shots with reliable control. The Adidas RX44 is a great paddle for all levels of players. I really like the grip and comfort of the play of the paddle. I brought it to a social match of 3.5 players and everyone liked playing with the Adidas RX44. We all agreed on the grip comfort, control, and power. The Adidas RX44 is a good all around solid paddle.
Hats Off to Adidas!

I am an advanced 4.0 female player who has been playing for 7 years. I compete in national pickleball tournaments around the United States. I played with the Adidas RX44 without reviewing the level of play for which it is intended. After playing with it, I was surprised to learn that it was intended for intermediate level players. I loved the feel of the Adidas RX 44 pickleball paddle. The ball was very responsive to my swing. I clearly favor the fiberglass, honey comb, and carbon materials in a paddle. It totally surprised me with the touch being totally controllable on my drop shots, and yet still powerful enough on the smashes. I find it very interesting that paddles are being made in the same weight range while emphasizing totally different attributes, such as power or control or both. The yellow color just below the center can be an advantage, since it resembles the color of many balls used in competitive play. It can be difficult to see a ball coming off the paddle, when the paddle had similar colors to the ball. The grip is excellent, with small holes and sufficient stickiness for a very sweaty environment. I take my hat off to Adidas for entering the pickleball paddle universe. Welcome to the fastest growing sport in the world!
LOVE the Grip!!

I enjoyed playing with the RX44 paddle! Everything about this paddle made it easy to control my shots well, especially drop shots. The weight is nicely distributed, the face has nice grip, and I especially like the handle. The handle has a good thick cushioned feel, with holes distributed throughout the grip. I wish I could clone the grip onto all my existing paddles!!!!!
Large Sweet Spot, Easy To Find
Sep 20, 2021
I played with the Adidas RX44 for two hours, and I played only outdoors. The paddle was easy to get used to. I was able to power through some substantial wind without losing any of the control that I wanted. The sweet spot seemed easy to find and is larger than other similarly shaped paddles that I have owned. Also, the shape of the handle made it very easy to know the orientation of the paddle face, just by the feel of the handle in my hand. The handle has a larger diameter than many other paddles, and may not be ideal for all players, but, it is a good fit for my hand. The test paddle that I used weighed about the same as my current paddles (8.0'ish oz.). The fiberglass face and high-density core gives it a solid feel which allows a lot of variation of shots. The ball comes off the paddle face just a bit quicker than it does on softer faced paddles. I was able to put plenty of power on the ball when I wanted to, and spin when I needed it. I had control when playing softer strategic drop shots and dinks. I also like the subdued sound of the paddle. My impressions of this paddle are very positive. I plan to have the RX44 on my short list when I start shopping for my next paddle. I want to thank the good folks at Pickleball Central for providing my club the opportunity to try out some great products and making this field test possible.
